Literacy Roundup Fort Worth
Strengthening Futures Through Early Literacy
Literacy Roundup is a citywide initiative led by the City of Fort Worth, in partnership with Go Beyond Grades and the Sid W. Richardson Foundation. The program provides free literacy screenings for youth along with practical resources for parents and caretakers—removing barriers and helping families take early, informed steps toward reading success.
In 2025, Literacy Roundup screened approximately 400 students for dyslexia at select community centers and public libraries across Fort Worth. These screenings played a critical role in early identification, opening doors to intervention and support at a stage when it can make the greatest impact.
As part of the initiative’s growing community presence, I’ve designed a wide range of materials supporting Literacy Fort Worth and its expanding impact efforts. From brochures, flyers, and business cards to event collateral, social media graphics, and e-blasts, each piece was created to maintain visual consistency and a strong, recognizable brand.
That consistency reinforces the seriousness and thoughtfulness behind Literacy Roundup. Clear, intentional design helps communicate trust, accessibility, and care—values that are essential for a citywide initiative focused on empowering families and strengthening literacy outcomes for Fort Worth’s youth.
