Danco AI Part Finder Tool Development

Finding the right replacement part can be one of the most frustrating moments in a consumer’s repair journey—especially when part names are unclear and visual differences are subtle. To solve this problem, I ideated and developed the Danco AI Part Finder, an intelligent visual search tool designed to simplify how customers identify the exact part they need. By training the model on a dataset of over 30,000 product images and investing hundreds of hours into model training, testing, and refinement, the system learned to recognize nuanced differences between parts and return highly accurate matches. The result is an AI-powered experience that allows users to simply upload or select an image and quickly receive the correct product recommendation. Today, the tool achieves a 98% retrieval accuracy rate, significantly reducing friction in the purchasing process and helping customers move from confusion to confident repair in seconds.
