COMMERCIALIZATION

STRATEGY TO SHELF

Building a scalable commercialization process that connected product development, creative, ecommerce, sales and retail execution.

THE CHALLENGE

FRAGMENTED LAUNCHES

With thousands of products moving through multiple retail and ecommerce channels, successful launches required more than packaging and creative. Product information, marketing assets, sales support, digital content and retailer execution all needed to launch together.

The opportunity was to create a repeatable commercialization framework that aligned teams, established accountability and gave every new product a coordinated path to market.

THE STRATEGY

CONNECTED LAUNCHES

Developed a commercialization approach connecting Product Management, Creative, Ecommerce, Sales and Customer Service around shared launch timing, accurate product information and coordinated execution.

The framework connected every stage—from internal education and sales enablement to PR, digital, retail merchandising and ongoing post-launch support.

THE PROCESS

STAGE-GATE LEADERSHIP

Managed the Stage-Gate commercialization process, creating visibility across product launches while establishing clear ownership, deliverables and deadlines for functional leaders.

Tracked projects through each gate, held teams accountable for assigned tasks and identified roadblocks earlier—helping accelerate time to market and create a more disciplined, repeatable launch process.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

LEARN + ADAPT

Led post-mortem reviews following launches to evaluate what worked, identify breakdowns and capture lessons from cross-functional teams.

Insights were fed back into the Stage-Gate process, allowing the commercialization model to continuously evolve and improve with each launch.

This is an important section because it shows how you led, not simply what the marketing department produced.

THE ECOSYSTEM

EVERY TOUCHPOINT

Commercialization connected sales kits, training, video, PR and social with product pages, SEO, packaging, signage, merchandising, product-finder tools and ongoing performance analysis—creating one coordinated consumer experience from launch through purchase.

THE SYSTEM

CONTENT AT SCALE

Product launches were supported by a growing content ecosystem built around education and consumer confidence.

By July 2021, Danco’s video library included 147 videos supporting 53 products, including 69 full installation videos and 60 short-form social videos. By 2023 the library grew to over 700 assets.
